    Product Description
Servokon distribution transformer with OLTC (On load tap changer) is a higher capacity transformer, in which LT voltage remains nearly constant, while there is frequent variations in HT side voltage. A discrete steps are followed for the voltage control. And, the available voltage is based on step voltage. Geneva Operating mechanism is a rotating mechanism with a spindle based on which all moving contacts rotate. A motor is used for rotating the spindle in both the directions, in order to rotate the OLTC moving contacts in both directions. Contact movement is done to control the transformer's output LV voltage. OLTC distribution transformer requires periodic maintenance by only a professional. This maintenance include changing the OLTC oil and checking all parts for wear and tear.

FAQs of Distribution Transformers with OLTC:

Q: What is a Distribution Transformer with OLTC?

A: A Distribution Transformer with On-Burden Tap Transformer (OLTC) is an electrical transformer intended for power distribution frameworks. It incorporates a tap transformer instrument that can change the transformer's result voltage while the transformer remains invigorated and associated with the heap.

Q: What is the reason for an OLTC in a Distribution Transformer?

A: The main role of an OLTC is to manage the result voltage of the distribution transformer because of changing burden conditions and information voltage variances. This keeps a reliable voltage level for the associated distribution organization.

Q: How does an OLTC work?

A: An OLTC works by changing the place of the transformer's tap association on the winding. This tap changing component changes the quantity of turns in the twisting, which thus changes the result voltage. It tends to be finished while the transformer is stimulated and providing capacity to the heap.

Q: Where are Distribution Transformers with OLTC commonly utilized?

A: These transformers are utilized in distribution networks where keeping a reliable voltage level is basic. They are ordinarily utilized in businesses, business structures, and regions with shifting burden necessities.
